The card didn't show up in the OS, so i looked into it, and it wasn't seated properly. I remembered that the case was bent when i got it, i thought i had popped it back into form, but i guess not, onto the first try to fix.
Now lets make this picture look bad with everything in the case while bending it with a clamp (not the solution)
Went with a far more subdued approach, bending the mounting bracket for the card a tad. Yes i removed the bracket before reforming the flange.
Much more obvious from the top, the slot used to have about equal amounts of metal flange on either side. Slots in perfectly to the case now.
